Brighton Photo Diary 2020

It’s time for another photo diary! I didn’t think I would do another one of these for a while due to the current circumstances but we managed to squeeze a trip to Brighton just before lockdown 2.0. I first went to Brighton in August 2018 and fell in love with the place.
Fun fact: we were actually meant to go to Blackpool this October, had it booked and everything… and then they went into the highest tier so we couldn’t. So we booked Brighton instead!

Brighton in Autumn is different to Brighton in Summer – the weather whilst we were there this time was pretty bad. As in, it rained pretty much the whole time. It didn’t stop us having a good time though – we just got very wet (and silly me didn’t take a rain coat or an umbrella).

So here is a summary of my family trip to Brighton in photos. Enjoy!
Ps. I took these photos on my iPhone 11 because I didn’t want to take my camera out in the rain.

We stayed at the Malmaison hotel in Brighton Marina (would highly recommend!). Our hotel room was so cool I just had to take a photo of it.

Breakfast was 10/10… we were firstly offered drinks and continental, and then a cooked breakfast. We ate it whilst looking out onto the marina.

I got the cutest earrings from this shop – everything in there was from independent artists.

I just adore all the colour and street art in Brighton.

Jonah and I went into this shop out of pure curiosity and came out with a perfume each. Eden re-create popular scents using vegan indegredients for a much more affordable price! I got the Black Opium scent and it literally smells the exact same as the real one, except I bought this for £20 instead of £90! Would definitely recommend this if you’re in Brighton.

As a musical theatre lover, this picture actually makes me feel sad.

On our way home we visited Eastbourne because I’m thinking of going to university there next year. I only got this photo but I absolutely loved the place – I had heard that it was more of a retirement town but actually I very much saw myself living there.

see you next week!
