Amsterdam 2023: what we did and where we ate
In January 2019 Jonah and I went to Amsterdam for the first time. To kick off 2023 and to celebrate Jonah’s 22nd birthday we decided to return. We decided to go back for a number of reasons. 1. To explore more of the city and go with a more adult perspective, 2. it was a good price and 3. we loved it last time. We booked our trip through EasyJet holidays. I would recommend booking this way because it meant our flights and hotel (and luggage!) were all included. We stayed at the Urban Lodge Hotel, which was simple and met all our needs. Plus, it was only a 10…

A trip to Rhodes, Greece
Last week me and my friend Millie went to Rhodes for 5 days and I wanted to share what we got up to and the pictures I took. We went to Milan, Italy last month which was incredible, but this time we decided to go for a more relaxed holiday in the sun. I had the best time and would highly recommend Rhodes – it’s such a beautiful island. We booked through On The Beach and flew from Birmingham Airport. It was all very straightforward. Hotel: Avra Beach Hotel & Bungalow Resort, Ixia We loved the hotel we stayed at. It was in an ideal location, the food was great…

72 hours in Milan, Italy
This is my first post since September and I’m so excited that it’s a travel one. The last travel (abroad) post I published was in 2020 when I went to Budapest. During the pandemic travelling was the main thing I missed, so being able to hop on a plane without hassle made me so incredibly happy and I can’t wait to share what we did! If you follow me on instagram you will probably have seen a lot of the photos in this post, but I thought it would be nice to document it on here and explain in more detail what we did, where we ate etc! I went…

Isle Of Wight travel guide
I am back with another travel post! I’m so excited for this post because it feels like forever since I wrote a travel guide. In fact, the last one I wrote was my Prague one which was well over a year ago! Anyway, as you can see, this one is for the Isle Of Wight. My boyfriend and I chose the Isle Of Wight because it had to be in the UK (I did have my hopes on Portugal before it got added to the amber list) and it was very affordable. I had also never been so I was very intrigued! Our stay was from Monday to Friday (28th…

A long weekend in bournemouth
Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve written any travel content! It feels so good to be able to travel again, even if it is limited to the UK (and very few countries abroad) at the moment. A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I met my family (who went a few days earlier) in Bournemouth for a long weekend away. If you read my post about going to university, you will know that from September I will be living in Bournemouth. It’s such a lovely place and visiting again has only made me more excited. Here is a roundup of what we got up to… Saturday 5th June We…

Brighton Photo Diary 2020
It’s time for another photo diary! I didn’t think I would do another one of these for a while due to the current circumstances but we managed to squeeze a trip to Brighton just before lockdown 2.0. I first went to Brighton in August 2018 and fell in love with the place. Fun fact: we were actually meant to go to Blackpool this October, had it booked and everything… and then they went into the highest tier so we couldn’t. So we booked Brighton instead! Brighton in Autumn is different to Brighton in Summer – the weather whilst we were there this time was pretty bad. As in, it rained…

Mallorca Photo Diary – July 2019
Last July 3 of my friends from sixth form and I went to Mallorca for 4 nights to celebrate the end of our a-level exams and to relax after possibly the most stressful year of our lives. I was meant to write this post last year but never got round to it, so with all this free time I’ve decided to go ahead and do it (mainly because I’m reminiscing and looking through my camera roll a lot). I’ve done quite a few photo diarys on this blog now, such as my Brighton one and my Amsterdam one if you wanted to check those out as well. Here are my…

The Ultimate Prague Travel Guide
When I visited Prague last year I fell in love with the city and promised myself I would return again one day. With its gorgeous buildings and so much to do, I decided that this travel guide would be perfect for anyone planning on going – if you’re thinking of it, do it! You will not regret it. Here is a list of things to do, places to see and even some places to eat and drink. Astronomical clock John Lennon Wall Some might say this is an overrated part of Prague, however I loved visiting this wall. There is just so much colour and creativity and of course, it…

Exploring Budapest – February 2020
On Wednesday 19th February myself and the girls who I visited Prague with last year headed off to Budapest for a girls holiday in celebration of my friends 21st birthday. I will admit – I’d only heard of Budapest through George Ezra’s song, but nevertheless I was very excited to explore it! 2020 for me is a year to prioritise travelling and seeing as much as possible, so I was very happy to have completed my first trip of the year. Thursday 20th On our first full day we went to the famous Bath Spas. The weather on this day was gorgeous, and looking at the photos we could have…

3 UK Cities, 1 Week
Birmingham 19/11/2019 Last week myself and my boyfriend both had the day off, so we spontaneously decided to go to Birmingham (despite it being another four days until payday for me!). I hadn’t been to Birmingham since March and I love the city, particularly at this time of year. This part of Birmingham is one of my favourites as the view is super pretty. We had a walk up and down the Christmas markets which really got me into the festive spirit. We also had a look around the Bullring and other shops on the streets – I always forget just how many shops are in Birmingham! It’s the perfect…
